Just saw Vito at OUTfest. This clip is like a Who’s Who of the gay right movement: it shows Vito Russo (author of The Celluloid Closet), interviewing Barbara Gittings, founder of the Daughters of Bilitis, alongside Harry Hay, founder of the Mattachine Society and the Radical Faeries. This is from a 1983 episode of “Our Time,” a public access show Vito hosted.
